  • "No, I do not regret it, and if it was again, so I will do it again - Kylian Mbappe reacts to his red card

  • Kylian Mbappe has been impressive for the last 12 months.
After a stunning debut campaign with Paris Saint-Germain where he won a treble, the youngster later went to lift the World Cup.
The teenager was an integral part of France's victory in Russia, scoring four goals and turning in some amazing displays.

And he has continued that impressive form again with PSG this season. Mbappe has scored four goals in his last three French Ligue 1 appearances and scored one of his finest strikes to date against Nimes on Saturday.
The Ligue 1 champions won 4-2 in what was a very entertaining game, which saw Angel Di Maria score directly from a corner and Mbappe almost defy the laws of physics.

    Watch the goal below:

Mbappe's game ended on a very sorrowful note after he picked up his first ever red card for shoving Nimes midfielder Teji Savanier to the floor after being fouled.

Speaking to reports Kylian Mbappe said:
"No, I do not regret it," he told reporters. "And if it was again, so I will do it again. And I will apologise to supporters and everyone but I cannot tolerate these kinds of gestures."
And Savanier has weighed in on the debate, saying that Mbappe's attitude could cost him again throughout the season.
When told about the PSG man's comments, he replied:  “Ah really? If he continues like this, he’s going to see a lot of red cards this season.

“When he was booked in the first half, it’s because he spoke back to the referee. I’ve never seen him speak to the referee like he did when I’ve watched him on TV. I think he’s going to regret it."
